Be sure to stop by table T1235 at the AWP convention and check out our three excellent new titles plus some past favorites. March 7th to 10th, at the Tampa Convention Center.
Please join us at Skylight Books on Sunday, October 15th, at 5pm, for an important event: Gail Wronsky will read from her brand new poetry collection, Imperfect Pastorals, a 2017 publication of What Books Press.
Joining Gail will be Katharine Haake, reading from her collection of parables, just-released by Gold Line Press, Assumptions We Might Make About the Postworld. Also reading will be Chuck Rosenthal, debuting You Can Fly - A Sequel to the Peter Pan Tales, from Whitepoint Press. For details please see Skylight Book's announcement page. We are in the midst of preparing three outstanding new titles for 2017, and one of them has already received very positive attention: Gary Oldman is a Building You Must Walk Through, by Forrest Roth, turns out to be one of the "Most Anticipated Small Press Books of 2017," according to the review blog Big Other. What Books says thank you to this very useful site, and check out all of Big Other's anticipations here.
What Books Press is pleased to announce the publication of two new poetry books and one new book of short stories. Check out the details at the following links:
